Become a governor

Print or save PDF

Firstly you must be a member of our Trust and over 16 years old.

If you would like to play an active role as a member of our Trust you may consider standing as a governor representative on the Council of Governors.

Governors receive help, support and training. We do ask you to attend one of our information workshops prior to elections to ensure potential governors are fully informed about the role and what is expected from them.

Governors are not paid; the position is voluntary, however, expenses in connection with attending meetings can be claimed – such as mileage allowances or public transport costs. Transport to meetings can be arranged if required.

Please contact the membership office if you would like a governor information pack, which provides lots of useful information about becoming a governor at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.
