Lincolnshire Media have announced the launch of the first ever Lincolnshire Health Awards to recognise and reward the hard work of the county’s NHS staff.

The awards hosted by BBC Radio Lincolnshire’s presenter, Rod Whiting will be held on 14 November 2017 at The Bentley Hotel in Lincoln and will recognise and celebrate the hard work of clinical and non-clinical staff working in the NHS across the county.

The awards aim to recognise doctors, nurses, pharmacies, innovators, midwives, non-medical teams behind the scenes of the hospital and many more health care professionals.

Magna Vitae Trust for Leisure and Culture are the headline sponsors of the event.

The awards organised by Lincolnshire Media is supported by LPFT and all local NHS services including ULHT, LCHS and the clinical commissioning groups and is an additional way we can help staff get the recognition they deserve for the fantastic work they do.

The Trust is also in the process of organising its own annual staff excellence awards which we hope to launch for nominations soon. If you know someone who deserves recognition why not nominate them for both awards.

Alternatively, nominations can be emailed to or posted to Health Awards, Lincolnshire Media, Ground Floor Witham Wharf, Brayford Wharf East, Lincoln, LN5 7AY.

The closing date for nominations is 2 October 2017.

All shortlisted nominees will receive two free tickets to the awards ceremony and there will be an opportunity for others to purchase tickets at a later date.

Please help make the awards a success by nominating Lincolnshire NHS staff or volunteers who are making a big difference to you or your family.
