We are calling for service users, patients and carers to become part of the team. We want to ensure that people with lived experience are involved in all aspects of the new peer support worker service in both design and delivery.
We want to design a new peer support worker service which will embody the transformations which are central to driving recovery focused organisational change (ImROC) www.imroc.org. We want this new service to include a staffing model which employs peer workers with lived experience.
Phase 1:
Developing peer support worker posts with four associated work streams on:
• Preparation
• Recruitment
• Employing peer workers
• Ongoing development of the role
