NHS Lincolnshire Charities (Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust Charitable Funds) is an independent and dedicated charity that plays a vital role in supporting the Trust to make a difference to service user care. The charity is governed by a highly qualified board of trustees and advisors. Its vision is to promote excellence in healthcare by raising and investing funds to improve the healing environment.
The charity supports innovative projects to enhance services and facilities that would not be funded by the NHS.

How donations are used
New gym equipment for the learning disability service
Funds from the charity helped to purchase some gym equipment to help service users maintain their fitness. The learning disability service worked closely with physiotherapists and service users to identify appropriate equipment.
Trauma books
The Adult Psychology Specialty was able to purchase a number of academic books from the charitable fund. £270 was used to purchase some books that focus on trauma; these are now helping to improve the therapy offered to service users.
