These courses look at helping you move forward on your recovery journey after studying at the Recovery College.

MINDFULNESS COMPASSION 

Following on from our Mindfulness course, Mindfulness Compassion looks deeper into the different uses of Mindfulness. Please be aware completion of our Mindfulness or Spirituality course is required before enrolment onto this course.

TELLING YOUR STORY

Telling your story is a way to be seen as the unique and valuable individual you are, beyond your diagnosis. This can include the experiences and relationships that have helped to shape your identity. This course will give you an opportunity to find different ways to tell your story in the way you want to.
Students will have the opportunity to use a variety of creative approaches. You do not need to be ‘good’ at writing as the course is about expression, acceptance and celebration.
There will be an opportunity to share stories with the group at the end of the course if you wish to do so.

VOLUNTEERING IN RECOVERY

Would you like to learn about volunteering, build your self-confidence and develop life and employment skills?
This one off session is designed to help you plan where, when, why and how to volunteer. It will help you discover the skills you have to offer and the benefits to be gained from volunteering.
We will also look at common myths and misconceptions regarding benefits and volunteering.
There is no obligation to volunteer upon completion of this session.
