Skills for Care are a trusted independent charity who provide practical support to help leaders and managers recruit, develop and lead their staff.

There is also a number of resources available for all staff. Here is some of what is available:

The EAP service is provided by the Validium Group who are an entirely independent organisation ensuring free, confidential support when you need it.

The EAP service is part of your benefits package and is free for you to use.

You can simply self-refer and, to confirm eligibility, just state that you are eligible via Arden & GEM and that you work for Lincolnshire CCG.

The support available includes:

  • Legal information and guidance
  • Counselling & emotional support (includes self-referral for up to 6 sessions)
  • Debt/money advisors
  • Wellbeing and Resilience support
  • Family Care information

Whatever your concern may be, this is an independent, free service to you as an employee of Lincolnshire CCG so please use it if/when you need to.

The team is made up of a qualified Counsellor who also manages the volunteer counselling service (see below) and our chaplaincy and spiritual care team.

Looking after your career provides an easy to access, individually tailored career coaching service for the frontline primary care workforce. It focuses on proactively supporting people with their career choices by providing opportunities to process experiences, develop career plans and develop strategies for self-management. The service is also intended to support the primary care workforce in increasing awareness and connection to the wider suite of resources and support offers available to them.

Your coach will help you think about and plan how you work with the people you lead and manage, using approaches centred in compassionate and collaborative team leadership.
