These weekly virtual mindfulness workshops are taking place at lunchtimes from June until spring 2022 and will be available to all LCC colleagues.

These follow on from our popular lunchtime mindfulness events which end in May, and will be delivered as part of LCC's wider offer to support staff wellbeing.

Looking after ourselves sometimes takes a back seat when we are busy, but this is an essential part of maintaining our physical and mental health.

These guided wellbeing sessions are aimed at giving staff a break from the working day and helping to relieve stress.

Delivered by qualified mindfulness practitioner Stuart Couling these hour-long sessions will

  • Settling meditation to arrive in the moment.
  • Wellbeing tips and mindfulness ideas to help build resilience.
  • Guided meditation intended to promote relaxation, setting positive intentions, and distancing us from unhelpful thoughts.
