The Lincolnshire psycho-oncology service is a specialist psychology service. The service is part of the physical health psychology speciality.
The Psycho-oncology team provide psychological therapy for adults with cancer diagnosis. Our aim is to support adults experiencing emotional issues during their cancer treatment.
We also offer support to clinicians working with a patient with psychological problems linked to their cancer.
Referral
Referrals can come from any source. Patients can refer themselves into this service. Most referrals come from Nurse Specialists and Medical Consultants. To make a referrals please email the Team at lpft.physicalhealthpsychology@nhs.net or Telephone 01476 464046.
