Computerised CBT

Print Friendly and PDF

cCBT is the name used for delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) via computers, tablets and smart phones.

Some people prefer using a computer rather than talking to a therapist about their private feelings, although you will have regular contact with a therapist to guide you and monitor your progress. Research suggests it can be just as effective as having face-to-face therapy with a professional.

We offer effective, supportive programmes for depression and a range of anxiety disorders. cCBT is designed in conjunction with world leading partners from academic and medical institutions. The content is designed to be motivational, easy to use, and interactive with relevance to your problem.

It provides an anonymous, safe and secure environment. cCBT is accessible online, so it’s available at a time and place that suits you and fits well with those who lead busy lives or find it difficult to attend face to face appointments.

You will be offered regular planned reviews with a clinician to monitor your progress, provide support and guidance using the program. These reviews will also help you to put into practice the skills and information you learn from the program to help aid your recovery.

This therapy will help you understand the CBT approach and has been shown to be an effective treatment for your problem. However, it may also be the first step in helping to prepare you for further input if needed.

On completion of cCBT online programme you can go back to the content and it will be available for one year.
