Worried about your young person going back to school in September?
Healthy Minds Lincolnshire have created a toolkit to support parents/carers with their young person’s transition back to school following COVID-19.
We have all experienced a lot of change over the past few months and it is natural for your young person to feel anxious or worried about returning to school; it’s going to be a change to their routine. It may also be a change to your own routine, so it is important to acknowledge that there could be a variety of emotions you are feeling as their parent/carer and make sure you take care of your own wellbeing. The toolkit provides information around a variety of emotions that you and your young person may be feeling right now and includes strategies to help you get back to a ‘new normal’.
