24/7 Mental Health Crisis Text Service

If you need urgent mental health support and prefer not to talk on the phone, you can now contact our 24/7 mental health crisis text service. This confidential service allows you to message trained healthcare professionals who can offer advice and support when you need it most.

You can text from any mobile phone or start an online chat at www.chathealth.nhs.uk. You may share your details if you wish, but you can also remain anonymous.

We provide advice to young people, parents, carers or professionals such as teachers. In this telephone call, we may give tips and strategies on ways you could help yourself, or we may agree together that you need some extra support from our teams. If we do not think we are the best place to help, we will always let you know who is and where to go next.
