Membership privacy notice

Our privacy notice – lawful basis of processing

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust will securely and confidentially store your personal information on our Membership Engagement Service Database. Our lawful basis for processing the data is as a foundation trust, we are accountable to patients and members of the public. Having your up-to-date personal details allows for us to involve you in Trust plans. We will retain your data as long as you remain an LPFT member. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), if you have any doubt over the way your information is being handled.

Our equality monitoring data

We collect monitoring information in order to ensure our membership is representative of the population of Lincolnshire and to assess whether there are any barriers for under-represented groups. This information is confidential and is only used for the purposes of collective data analysis and will be processed in accordance with Data Protection Act 2018 requirements.

Your consent

LPFT is keen to frequently refresh your consent as a member of our Trust. When you signed up as a member you will have provided us with personal information that we use to contact you. It is very simple to withdraw at any time, as a member. All you need to do is phone or email the Membership Office on 01522 309176 or membership@lpft.nhs.uk to let us know, you no longer wish to be a member.
