Get involved

We need you!

Young people are key to the design and delivery of our services- we need your voice to improve and develop what we do and the care we provide for children and young people.

This is why it is so important that we hear your feedback to see how we can improve. You can do this by completing experience questionnaires (available on Ipads in many of our waiting rooms) Complete our Experience of Service (ESQ) here>> or ask for a form from your individual CAMHS worker.

Are you aged 13-19 and have experience of accessing Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS)?

If so, you can ask to be part of the CAMHS Involvement Network. CAMHS involvement network gives you opportunities to become become involved in improvement projects within CAMHS that suit your individual interests and passions.

If you choose to get involved, you will get a certificate evidencing all your hard work. If you are already enrolled on a volunteering programme with school or college, any hours you spend doing this will count as hours.

If you are interested, please contact CAMHSinvolvement@lpft.nhs.uk for more information.

Here are some of the ways you can get involved ....

Creating Videos

We have teamed with some young people who have shared aspects of their lived experience to videos that can be shown within Schools or at Universities.

Check out the video featured here, which was co-produced with young people Lincolnshire Youth Council.

Transforming our bases

If you were interested in artwork or photography, there would be opportunity to display this in our bases around the county.

Since we have been featuring young person artwork in our bases, we have received some really positive feedback on how this has made our bases young person friendly and inviting.

Sharing your views at engagement events

Sometimes we hold young person and/or parent carer events to gather views on service changes or new projects. This is a chance for you to tell us what you think we need to do to improve what we do!
