Accountability report

Introduction

In these challenging times it’s more important than ever that we continue to deliver high quality, safe and compassionate care.

That also means remaining committed to keeping our service users at the heart of everything we do and they and our colleagues are listened to and involved in the development of our services.

To maintain these high standards, we believe that good governance is essential. It supports the collaborative leadership, continuous improvement and local accountability necessary to deliver better health, better quality services and long-term sustainability. This Accountability Report provides information on the Trust’s leadership and governance structures, and how they supported the achievement of our objectives this year. We share this in four sub-reports:

  • Directors' report: About our leadership and structure
  • Governance report: Our use of resources and governance and how we are well-led
  • Staff report: Analysis of our workforce, costs, policies and engagement
  • Remuneration report: What our senior people are paid and given in benefits
