Voted one of the 'Top 5' mental health trusts...
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust was ranked one of the top five mental health and learning disability trusts nationally, as a place work.
The results of the national NHS Staff Survey that took place at the end of 2024 show that 75 per cent of respondents working at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) would recommend us as a place to work. Placing the us joint third nationally among similar organisations.
We also scored either top in the country for mental health and learning disability trusts or well above the national average in all of the different domains – which include themes such as ‘staff morale’, ‘working as a team’ and ‘working flexibly’.
These accomplishments highlight why working with us is a great opportunity.

National Staff Survey 2024
In the 2024 NHS staff survey results it was positive to see we scored highest or joint highest nationally when compared to other mental health and learning disability trusts in these five areas: being compassionate and inclusive, reward and recognition, working flexibly, working as a team and staff morale.
While it is always helpful to look at how we benchmark with other similar trusts nationally, this doesn’t limit our ambition to improve in areas where we already benchmark well. It helps us understand where there are opportunities to learn from others who are scoring higher than us.
Where we are doing well
• Committed to helping staff balance work and home life and you can talk to a manager about flexible working.
• Staff feel able to meet conflicting demands on your time at work.
• A high percentage of colleagues would also recommend LPFT as a place to work.
Opportunities for Development
We are committed to providing pathways and opportunities for development for all staff. We are proud of our partnership with the University of Lincoln and the Lincoln Medical School. The Medical School has been supporting the expansion of our academic offerings to nurture and value talent across the Trust.
We value allowing people to be themselves and are committed to being openly supportive and celebrating diversity. We have three active staff network groups:
- Black Asian Minority Ethnics (BAME)
- Lesbian Gay Bi-Sexual Transgender (LGBT+)
- Staff with Mental and Physical Lived Experience (MAPLE).
This has resulted in annual staff conferences and some great national accolades such as the Trust being included in the Top 100 organisations in the country within the Stonewall Index. We have developed our values, behaviours and culture over the past three years and we live by them.
