Get involved

About foundation trusts

As a foundation trust it is important to engage and involve the local community in the decisions that we make.

If you live in the communities that we serve you can become a member of our Trust. This will enable you to get involved in the future of mental health services in Lincolnshire.

Membership

We offer a range of ways to get involved depending on how active you would like to be. Benefits of registering as a member include:

  • receiving updates on trust developments and services.
  • being able to stand for election as a governor and/or vote on who represents you.
  • being able to participate in many of our involvement events and activities

Volunteering

We also offer a wide variety of opportunities to volunteer within our services. Give a little back by supporting people going through difficult stages in their lives. This can be through befriending, arts activities or therapeutic activities.

Engagement

We want to listen to your views about the services we provide for people with mental health and learning disabilities. By working and learning together we can

  • make a difference
  • improve services
  • provide a good experience for people in our communities.

Our charity

Our charity is called Lincolnshire NHS Charity It is an independent and dedicated charity that plays a vital role in supporting both LPFT and Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust to make a difference to service user care.
