Equality Impact Assessments

Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT), like all public bodies, is required by the Public Sector Equality Duty to evaluate how its policies, services, and functions affect both staff and service users, and to make the findings and supporting evidence publicly available.

Equality Impact Assessments (EIA) help us ensure that our services, policies, and practices do not unintentionally or deliberately discriminate against staff or service users. If any issues are identified, we will take steps to reduce or remove them through equality improvement plans.

By carrying out EIAs, we assess the impact of both current and proposed services, policies, and procedures, considering factors such as ethnicity, disability, age, gender, religion, belief, sexual orientation, and human rights. This ensures that equality is a key consideration in how we deliver services and manage staff recruitment, development, and training.

Our Equality Impact Assessment guidance and template document

LPFT has developed a guidance document and EIA template to be used in support of a range of needs, from policies and strategies, to changes of services and functions.

Completed Equality Impact Assessments (EIA)

LPFT has completed many assessments across a wide spectrum of services and policies.
