Carers Rights Day is a national, annual campaign that will take place this year on Thursday 24 November. This year's theme is 'caring for your future'.
We will be hosting an online event on the day (from 10:00 to 14:20), 'Spotlighting carers' rights now and into the future', for anyone with an interest in the caring role to attend to find out more about carers rights and the support available to carers.
The event will cover a range of topics from 'Who is a Carer?', to financial and benefits support for carers and lived experience carer stories.
The full agenda for the event can be found below. People are welcome to attend the whole event or drop-in for particular sessions.
If you are unable to attend the financial and benefits support session or you would like to submit a question ahead of the day, please email Rebecca Morris - r.morris20@nhs.net.
