Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) has celebrated the achievements of its staff and volunteers at the 2025–26 Trust Values Awards, recognising individuals and teams who have made an exceptional contribution to mental health care across the county. The event highlighted the impact of colleagues whose dedication, compassion and innovation continue to improve the lives of the people they support.

Now in its 14th year, the ceremony continues to champion those who go above and beyond in their roles. Held on Thursday 26 March, the online event announced nine winners across categories ranging from ‘Leading by Example’ to ‘Volunteer of the Year’, reflecting the breadth of talent and commitment across the Trust.

Hundreds of nominations were submitted over the past year by colleagues, service users and their families, highlighting the breadth of compassion, professionalism and innovation demonstrated across the Trust. Finalists tuned in to discover who had been selected as this year’s award recipients.

Among the winners was Pete Kirkup, a non-medical prescriber in the Mental Health Liaison Service who received the ‘Chair’s Award’ for his exceptional compassion, person-centred approach and the profound impact he has had on those he supports.

“I feel privileged to be the recipient of this award,” Pete said. “I am deeply humbled, especially knowing the dedication to care shown by all the nominees and my colleagues in Mental Health Liaison Service.”

He added: “Receiving the award is a testament to the amazing support system I have, and I would like to thank colleagues, mentors and supervisors who have supported me.

“I am more motivated than ever to continue to advocate for our patients, to deliver excellent care and support my peers.”

The Inclusivity and Kindness’ award was presented to Harry Lewis, a senior healthcare support worker whose dedication helped a patient living with severe anxiety access community opportunities that had previously felt impossible.

Harry said: “It feels amazing to be recognised for the work I do and rewarding to know my mentality on the ward is helping patients and staff.”

LPFT Trust Chair, Kevin Lockyer, said this year’s winners represent just some of the fantastic work taking place across the Trust every day.

“It’s always a privilege to show appreciation for the hardworking and committed individuals and teams who help to provide the services on which many people across Lincolnshire rely,” Kevin said. “We are proud of every nominee and winner. Their dedication, compassion and professionalism embody the values to which we aspire every day.”
