Join the conversation about our adult mental health wards

Published on: 14th November 2022

We want to provide the highest standard of mental health care across Lincolnshire.

Following the recent necessary temporary closure of Lincolnshire’s male psychiatric intensive care unit, we are inviting patients, service users, carers and the public to join in a conversation about our current adult mental health wards and the impact of the temporary closure.

As well as the face to face or virtual workshops which are open to all, we also have an anonymous online survey for anyone who isn’t able to attend but would still like to contribute their views.

Please see dates and links below to get involved in the conversation.

We’d particularly like to hear from you if you, or someone you care for has accessed our mental health wards recently and if the temporary closure will impact you.

At the workshops we'll be explaining a bit more about why the Trust has found it neccessary to temporarily reduce its mental health beds. We'll also be exploring if this impacts you and what more we could do to support during the temporary closure.

We'd also like to hear more about what it is like to receive care on our mental health wards and how you would like to see hospital care delivered in the future.

You can also read more about why we have had to temporarily close the Hartsholme Centre on our website here.
