Ian Jerams has been appointed as the new director of operations at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust.

As a qualified social worker with a strong mental health and operational management background, Ian brings with him a wealth of experience gained from a number of senior NHS roles. Most recently he was employed as chief operating officer at Rotherham Doncaster & South Humber NHS Foundation Trust

Ian, who took up his new role on 19 January, said: “I am very much looking forward to working with the Trust in meeting the challenges ahead, supporting our workforce and providing exceptional care and services to our patients.”

Trust chief executive, Dr John Brewin, said: “Ian stood out from a strong field of candidates with his wide-ranging experience and enthusiasm for the job and he will be a very valuable addition to the executive team. He brings with him a strong clinical and management background, with significant experience across acute and community settings, of developing integrated models of care and of delivering other large-scale service changes.  The position of director of operations is a pivotal one for any Trust and I’m sure we have appointed the right person to oversee the safe, effective and sustainable delivery of services to our patients for years to come.”
