Lincolnshire residents are invited to share views on the temporary closure of the county’s psychiatric intensive care unit.

Following news earlier this month about the temporary closure of the Hartsholme Centre on Long Leys Road in Lincoln, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) is inviting views on its adult mental health wards and the impact of the temporary closure.

Paula Jelly, associate director of operations at LPFT said:

“It is so important to hear from as many people as possible so we can continue to make sure we provide the right services at the right time and in the right way.

“We’re particularly keen to hear from you if you’ve accessed our mental health wards recently and if the temporary closure will impact you. We can then work with you to see how we can best support you during this period. We’d also like to ask how you would like to see hospital care delivered in the future.”

Engagement events will take place:

  • Wednesday 23 November: 10am-12pm at the Alive Church in Lincoln
  • Thursday 1 December: 2pm-4pm at the Jubilee Church Life Centre in Grantham
  • Tuesday 6 December: 2pm-4pm at Jakemans Stadium on Pilgrim Way in Boston
  • Wednesday 14 December: 3pm-4.30pm virtually over MS Teams

Opinions can also be shared via an anonymous survey. This can be accessed:  http://ratenhs.uk/76Vb5y.
