We are delighted to be able to share with you the results of this year’s Council of Governor elections and by-elections.
This year’s elections focussed on the Service User and Carer constituency, with by-elections facilitated to fill vacant posts in the Older Adult and Adult Inpatient staff divisions.
Every year governor elections are planned to fill constituencies in the Council of Governors, which is divided into public, staff and service user/carer roles.
Governors are responsible for sharing the views and opinions of the organisation’s members and work alongside our Board of Directors in shaping our services. The Council are also responsible for ensuring that our Non-Executive Directors are individually and collectively held to account.
We would like to extend our thanks to all members who took the opportunity to vote. Governor elections are an opportunity for staff to get involved and have their say as part of the Council of Governors.
This year the results brought a mix of new and familiar faces to the council, with the results of the election listed below.
