You'll work through your care plan with your named nurse who will support you to work towards your goals

Together, we'll look at your plan ready for going home

During your stay, we will encourage you to be as independent as possible. Staff will help you with activities you need assistance with.

A bath is also available to use.

Staff are happy to help you with good hand and personal hygiene.

Smoking

You are not able to smoke within the unit or local hospital grounds.

Nicotine Replacement Therapy is available on the ward.

The use of vapes/e-cigarettes is permitted within the courtyard at certain times throughout the day.

Your feedback

People who use our services can make brilliant suggestions on how they can be made better.

Our weekly community meeting on the ward provides one space to make suggestions or provide feedback about being on the ward.

We also have our ‘You Said We Did’ approach where good ideas/changes can be highlighted and also the impact acknowledged.

We might not always be able to change how we do things, but hearing feedback and making changes where we can, is important to us.
