The Trust has dedicated Health-Based Places of Safety in the county, which are dedicated, calm environments where police can take people detained under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act for a mental health assessment, instead of being taken to a police station.
In Lincolnshire our main site is based at Peter Hodgkinson Centre on the Lincoln County Hospital site.
It is a safe, comfortable environment where people can be assessed in privacy to see how we can best support them.
Our number one priority is to ensure people are safe and treated with care and respect during what can be an emotional and extremely distressing experience.
