Could you nominate an LPFT staff member or team for an award?

Recognising our members of staff, teams and volunteers who go the extra mile to provide great care, or who provide support behind the scenes, is really important to us at LPFT as we seek to make our trust a great place to work. It is also important that our patients, service users, families, carers and members are able to acknowledge great care when they experience it.

Our annual Team LPFT Values Awards are our way of making this possible, and we have recently refreshed the awards to reflect our Trust’s new values. We have also made the decision to accept nominations all year round, with a cut-off point after which any nominations will be considered for the following year’s awards. This year, for the first awards with this new format, the cut-off date will be 21 November, and the awards event itself will be held online in March 2026.

LPFT staff and non-staff members alike are now able to nominate individuals, teams and volunteers in the following three categories:

• Clinical Team of the Year Award
• Support Services Team of the Year Award
• Volunteer of the Year Award

There is also a People’s Award for which nominations are accepted only from patients, carers and members of the public.

You can also pick up a paper nomination form from any of our sites across Lincolnshire or request one by emailing LPFT.communications@nhs.net.

Every nominee will receive an email message from our Chair and Chief Executive as well as a certificate to celebrate their nomination. Each nomination will then be reviewed by our judging panel, which includes representatives of our patients and members, who will agree a shortlist and finally a winner for each category.
