Autism Diagnostic Service

The Autism Diagnostic Service offers Autism Diagnostic Assessment’s to those aged 18 years and over, short term post diagnostic support and limited carer education on Autism.

We do not offer second opinion assessments or re-assessment for those who have already received a previous autism assessment.

Autism diagnosis for children and young people is undertaken by United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. You can find out more about this service by using this link to their website (opens in new window)

Who are we?

The Autism Diagnostic Service is made up of individuals from a range of backgrounds and professions which include:

  • Peer support workers
  • Nurses
  • Psychologists
  • Psychiatrists
  • Occupational therapists
  • Speech and language therapists
  • Social workers

There are three pathways within the service:

  • Autism diagnostics
  • Post diagnostics
  • Carers
