Lincolnshire residents are invited to join a conversation about adult mental health urgent care services* in the county.
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LPFT) is holding a number of engagement events over the next few months to hear the thoughts of patients, service users, carers, families, professionals and the public on how urgent mental health care is delivered locally.
Gareth Price, Urgent Care Pathway Service Manager at LPFT said:
“It is so important to hear from as many people as possible so we can provide the highest standard of care and continue to make sure we provide the right services, at the right time and in the right way.
“We’re particularly keen to hear from people who have accessed our urgent care services either recently or in the past. We’d also like to know how people would like to see care delivered in the future.”
Engagement events will take place on the following:
- Monday 9 December 2024: 11am – 12pm virtually over Microsoft Teams
- Tuesday 10 December 2024: 2pm – 4pm at Harrowby Lane Methodist Church, Harrowby Lane, Grantham, NG31 9PY
- Tuesday 7 January 2025: 10am – 12pm at the Day Room (Community Mental Health), Johnson Community Hospital, Spalding Road, Pinchbeck, PE11 3DT
- Wednesday 8 January 2025: 10am – 12pm at Centenary Church, Red Lion Street, Boston, PE21 6NY
- Monday 13 January 2025: 10am – 12pm at Bridge Church Lincoln, Dunston House, Bridge Central, Portland Street, Lincoln, LN5 7NN
- Thursday 16 January 2025: 10am – 12pm at The Storehouse, North Parade, Skegness, PE25 1BY
At the events, attendees will hear more about how urgent care support is currently delivered, as well as have the opportunity to share their own experiences and views to help shape future care.
People are invited to drop-in for a cuppa and a chat at any time at any of the sessions.
If you would like to attend an event or find out more, email lpft.involvement@nhs.net or call 07773 206341.
To support and to capture the views of those that are unable to attend the engagement events, we have also launched an online survey.
