From Monday 9 - Tuesday 24 January, nominations will be open as part of LPFT’s service user governor by-election. By-elections are held to fill vacant posts within the Council of Governors, with this period focussing on four service user governor vacancies.
Have you used LPFT’s services in the past 5 years and are you interested in getting more involved in the Trust and developing on a professional and personal level? Why not nominate yourself to be a governor?
Governors take part in a number of meetings and activities throughout the year which enable the Trust to ensure the quality of its services is of the very highest standard. They work in holding our Non-Executive Directors to account and represent the views and opinions of our service user, carer, staff and public members.
If you would like to know more information about the governor role, we are hosting virtual election information sessions on Microsoft Teams. The dates for these online sessions are:
- Wednesday 11 January, 4pm to 5pm
- Tuesday 17 January, 12pm to 1pm
You can register interest in either of these sessions by contacting lpft.governor-member@nhs.net or 01522 309176. Once your interest has been expressed, a link will be forwarded to your given email address. Alternative sessions can also be arranged on request.
