Three mental health services in Lincolnshire have been reaccredited for their continuing high standards of care.
Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust’s (LPFT), Ward 12 team, an acute adult inpatient service at Boston Pilgrim Hospital, has reattained its QNWA (Quality Network for Inpatient Working Age Mental Health Services) accreditation.
The status was awarded by the Royal College of Psychiatrists after a comprehensive process of self and peer review, including a visit to the ward where discussions were had with senior managers, frontline staff, patients and carers.
Feedback was hugely impressive with carers and patients praising staff for the support and care they receive.
Meanwhile, Grantham Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment team has again successfully secured its HTAS (Home Treatment Accreditation Scheme) accreditation.
The accreditation acknowledges the team’s commitment to provide support for people having difficulty with their normal coping methods for mental health issues and working with them to try and care for them in their community to prevent the need for them to go to hospital.
Elsewhere, the Veterans Service, the Trust’s community, inpatient and crisis teams were also reaccredited with the Lincolnshire Carers Quality Award, acknowledging the valuable support LPFT provides to carers it works alongside.
