At Stonewall, we stand for lesbian, gay, bi, trans, queer, questioning and ace (LGBTQ+) people everywhere. We imagine a world where all LGBTQ+ people are free to be themselves and we can live our lives to the full. 

William Farr – “Let’s Get Back Together”, young LGBT+ people's experience of the lockdown and the importance of togetherness for them as individuals

William Farr's LGBT+ Space present on their findings of what lockdown was like for young people who identify on the LGBT+ spectrum, lessons they have learned and the importance of togetherness when it could be too easy to feel divided and separated as a community.

Jordy Deelight – The Art and History of Drag

Jordy Deelight is an Edinburgh-based non-binary artist from Leith who works between Edinburgh and Glasgow creating performance-based work for theatre and television. Their work looks at identity and persona in the art of drag, exploring themes of disability, gender and mental health in autobiographical theatre and auto theory-based work. Jordy’s aim in their work is to bring conversations about the deep-rooted psychology of humans and how they think, feel and act.

Every-One is a Lincolnshire based enterprise and registered charity, that aims to work inclusively with everyone, to ensure that every one individual, is at the centre of their own wellbeing. 

Opening Doors, London - Story Telling Session

Older LGBTQ+ people have often lead very different lives from their heterosexual and cisgender counterparts. By listening to their stories we can gain a better insight into the lives that they have lived, and build empathy for a generation of LGBTQ+ that lived through an exceptionally hostile environment. This story telling session will shed some light on the ways in which older LGBTQ+ people have engaged with health and social care services in both the past and present, and you will have the chance to hear their hopes for the future of LGBTQ+ affirmative healthcare.

This workshop aims to provide people with the skills, knowledge and confidence to create short but high quality case studies of their work to support learning. 

Sessions are very interactive, encouraging participation and open discussion.

Gendered Intelligence - Trans Awareness training course

This is an entry-level session that introduces the key ideas and information people need to know about trans-related matters. It is delivered remotely via the platform Zoom.

Dr Hannah Barham-Brown – “Coming Out in the NHS”

Dr Hannah Barham-Brown is a GP trainee in Yorkshire, Council Member of the British Medical Association, and Deputy Leader of the Women’s Equality Party with the portfolio for ‘Making Change Happen’. Alongside her clinical and political work, she travels the UK giving talks about diversity and disability, in venues from the House of Lords to international publishing companies. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and works to support disabled people in politics, employment, travel, health and education.
