As part of providing as many ways as possible to support you, and making it easier to access information about appointments, care plans or helpful resources, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (which runs Lincolnshire’s mental health services and some dementia, learning disability and autism support) is looking at developing a new online patient portal, as a one stop place for documents and communication.
This development will broaden online access to people’s care with the Trust where they might prefer to use digital apps and receive things electronically. It does not mean that everyone will only receive things digitally. Rather, it gives people more choice in how the Trust could communicate with them in the future.
To help develop a platform that people would find helpful, the Trust is gathering initial views on what people would like to see from the new online resource and what needs to be considered in its implementation.
We are also inviting people to express an interest in being part of a more detailed patient-led working group, who will help look at the on-going development, useability and promotion of the resource as it nears completion.
The Trust would like to hear from as many patients and their carers as possible, and has developed a short online survey for people to share their views.
This will be available until Friday 29 August. If you would like help completing the survey, or would like to express an interest in being more involved, please contact the Trust’s Participation Team on lpft.involvement@nhs.net or call 07773 206341.
