Statement on industrial action

Published on: 9th March 2023

The British Medical Association (BMA) have announced that their junior doctor membership will take industrial action at NHS trusts across England, including at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust from 6.59am Monday 13 March to 6.59am Thursday 16 March.

Girish Kunigiri, Medical Director at LPFT said:

“We respect the position of our clinical colleagues in exercising their right to strike, and recognise that this is a dispute between the Government (who set public sector pay) and the Unions.

“Our priority will be to maintain patient safety, and we are grateful to our teams who are working hard to ensure patient care is disrupted as little as possible.”

If you have an appointment with us, and we haven’t contacted you to rearrange it, please come to your appointment as planned.

Should this situation change before the strike action begins, we will update this page and our social media accounts."
